my dad said he might get me this 5 and 1/2 foot tall inflatable TARDIS for my 21st birthday

(he quotes from the website: “‘For children ages 3 and older,’ or ‘adult Doctor Who fans’ to ‘avoid taking life too seriously’…yeah, I don’t think you’ll have a problem with that one.”)

he’s also giving me this small pool table he used to have in his office, but has been folded up in a closet for years

so he said to me just now

“If I really get you this TARDIS and you stick it next to the pool table, your apartment next year is going to look like a British pub.”

I meant to say The Way Station, but, yeah.

Haha thanks, I’ll tell him you said that! My dad sent me this text after he saw the post:

(“Hey thanks for putting me on your blog!! You made my night!”)

My dad sent me this email just now…

    It says this:

with an image attached that’s named:

And this was the bit of Photoshop Phun that he attached to the image:

My dad isn’t a fan of the show, but I think he’s a fan of the fandom.

The Hungry Earth is on BBC America right now, and my Dad knows what to say as always.

    It’s a Christmas bloody miracle!

My sister agreed to watch the Christmas special with me at 9, and my Dad agreed to watch The Girl Who Waited with me in an hour (the times that these episodes are airing on BBC America)

Slowly but surely, I’m turning my household into a herd of Whovians!
