For those of you who may not know, I interviewed Karen Gillan this summer for Lucky Magazine!

My interview with Karen Gillan for Lucky Magazine!
Karen was incredibly sweet and really easy to talk to, and she had a lot to say about her style on and off of Doctor Who! Find out what she thinks of Amy Pond cosplayers, her shopping habits with Matt Smith, which of all eleven Doctors she thinks has the best fashion sense, and more.
(And in case you were wondering which of the Eleventh Doctor’s accessories is really the coolest: Karen says it’s the fez.)
So, I accidentally bought an alternate cover of a Doctor Who comic that I already own, and decided to give it away to one lucky follower along with a few other little things!
- Doctor Who Volume 2, #11: Body Snatched (Part 2 of 2) (Cover B)
- Eleventh Doctor Bow Tie Bracelet that I made
- Two bags of some organic tea: Green and Ginger Pear
The comic is part 2 of a 2-part story, but don’t worry if you haven’t read part 1 (I haven’t either, but it’s not hard at all to figure out what is going on).
The inside summary of part 1 reads:
“The Doctor, Amy, and Rory have come to the aid of the Doctor’s friend who is trapped in a planet-sized hospital where Dr. Sol Rubin performs experiments on organically grown creatures called BioGrowers. They soon discover Rubin is transplanting minds into these creatures, which aren’t as brain-dead as believed. As Rubin tries to take over the Doctor’s body, Amy and Rory discover that the BioGrowers are rebelling. Amy comes to tell the Doctor, but an accident causes their minds to be swapped…”
If you ask me, it sounds like you’re getting the infinitely more interesting half of the story. :P
