  • TARDIS nails! I used:
New York Color, Black Lace Creme (I used this as a background base, like three coats of it cause it’s really sheer. It was 99¢ too and available at CVS. :P)
Sinful Colors, Secret Admirer (You can’t tell all that well in the picture, but I used this silvery black polish on top of the pure black in order to make it look like outer space with all of the stars. I think that one was like $1.29? I got it at Duane Reade.)
Essie, Mesmerize (Actually, on my bottle it says “Mezmerised” but I think it’s actually called “Mesmerize.” Anyway. That’s my TARIDS blue! It looks darker in person, and I photographed it with flash so that you could see it against the black background a bit better. Anyway, it’s a beautiful color and a worthy TARDIS blue. The only downside is that Essie polishes go for around 7 or 8 dollars at CVS)
Delia’s, Blue Shore (This is the darker blue that I used for the TARDIS panels. This could actually work kind of well for TARDIS blue as well, but it does have a bit of shimmer in it, and I think it flakes too easily. It’s $4.50 at Delia’s.)
New York Color, French White Tip (Just a basic white that I used for the windows and light on the design. Again, 99¢ and available at CVS, and it’s also a lot more opaque than the black one.)
