As mentioned before, my dad likes to randomly look...
He does it to humor me and/or tease me (like calling The Doctor “Doctor Who”) or just makes random Doctor Who-themed jokes out of nowhere cause he thinks it’s hilarious. (And it is. Like, he’ll randomly walk by my room and go, “What’s up, waiting for the TARDIS to come pick you up?” or “Looks like you need a sonic screwdriver” for literally no...

uberfilm asked: Also, I believe Ten said that he doesn't age to Rose or Martha at some point while rattling off reasons why he can't be romantic with the. And then when the human Doctor at the end of series four is in the picture, one of the things Ten lists as a difference is that he is human and will age like the rest of them. Perhaps they age slowly? I like to think that Mel's aging was due to...

lunalore asked: Further adding to your "Dr Who" questions - David Tennant specifically asked the producers to change his credit from "Dr Who" to "THE DOCTOR" for specifically that reason. And dude, if you look at the Classic Series, they credited the actors as "Dr Who" all the time - starting with William Hartnell, like you said. Plus in a lot of old interviews, the actors...

uberfilm asked: To add yo your "The Dr." post, did you know that Christopher Eccleston was listed as "Doctor Who" in the credits during the first series of the New Who, but fan rage was so intense over that decision that they changed it for series two?

beer-is-peeeeeeeeople asked: Time Lords do age. I remember a character who hasn't seen the 10th Doctor in a while commenting on him having aged when he sees him again. Can't remember what episode. But Melody says she can control her aging. She can even age backwards. So either Melody is special, or, if the Doctor who dies in The Impossible Astronaut is really the Doctor and really is 200 years older, then Time Lords...

kettlepet asked: About the aging timelord-topic, Eleven was 200 years older in The Impossible Astronaut when he died, but hadn't aged, so I think they don't age. Though they might age from child to adult, and then "stop" their aging by their own choice? Melody seems to be able to control her age, so I suppose they're in charge of their bodies, or something.

crankyashley asked: I actually don't have a problem with the way Mels was inserted into the story. I look at it as if she up and decided to superimpose herself into this timeline and that's how we see it. I'm sure that there have been plenty of conversations in the Tardis regarding Mels (which may or may not have involved The Doctor) in the in between time (such as when Amy is polishing her nails).

Gonna clean out my inbox once and for all.
Cause I have literally 99 messages in it: 1) Some are Doctor Who Problem suggestions that I looked at and went “Ehhhhhhmmaaaybe…kindofffffff…possiblypostingthissss…..nope. But the submitter seems way too nice to reject!” 2) Some are fan theories that I either looked at and had my whole brain just go what the hell cause I didn’t understand what they were...

WatchWatch
This is what I do with my life. Also, it may not be very coherent at all considering the time (2:09 AM where I am) and hours of sleep I had the night before (five and a half, maybe), plus I’m speaking quietly cause the last thing I want is to wake up everyone else in the house and have them catch me being a huge dork. Oh, and I’m awkward cause this is my first ever video thing....

Anonymous asked: Does it not bother you that they just put Hitler in the closet and then didn't talk about him for the rest of the episode? I mean the episode's called "Let's Call Hitler" and I know they were busy with other things (like the Doctor dying and all) but it was kinda a let down.

little-bluedress asked: Quite honestly I think we only met Mels now was because if we met her before now she'd have killed the doctor already? I mean she was programmed and brainwashed to kill him, so soon as she met him her instincts would kick in and she'd kill him. I think that makes sense?

foolintheforest asked: BWUH Okay the Mels thing. Totally forced, pissed me off at first--okay, still kinda does--but I saw it as an alternate-history kind of thing. Like, originally Rory and Amy got together on their own, but then after she was born and conditioned, Melody was like OH HEY I HAVE AN IDEA and went to follow her parents around. Which is why the Doctor never heard about her until then--she didn't exist...

Finished re-watching The Mole season 5
Starting again with Season 1 now. So, so, so good. But it’s not like I’ve mentioned that before. Anyway… …waaaaatch it…! Also, I’ve decided that The Mole is like the Firefly of reality TV. 1) Way too smart and awesome for most people to really get into 2) Canceled way too soon 3) Has a fairly substantial cult following despite all that Alright, back to...

aboyscoutandabrownie asked: Was it just me, or did the introduction of "Mels" seem really forced? Like, if she was really their best friend who they'd known all their lives, wouldn't we have seen her or at least heard her name a few times before, particularly if Amy named Baby!Melody after her? If she'd been introduced before, she would have seemed a bit more like she belonged there in that...

poptartsinthetardis asked: It seems to me that Moffat was putting a classic who reference in there. In classic who, time lords can only regenerate either 12 or 13 times, but they can be transferred somehow, ie the master regenerating more than should be possible. It could be that Melody gave him a few of her regenerations in that kiss.

Alright, spoiler time:
Some people who read this blog know that I am not really a fan of Rose Tyler (Please oh please don’t jump all over me again, everyone is entitled to like/dislike whoever they please), at least during series 2-4. But that scene when The Doctor is choosing his voice interface, and her hologram appeared, and The Doctor reacted as strongly as he did…I felt a bit teary. Okay, a lot bit...

Just got my grandma to watch Doctor Who (Part 2)
After watching The Doctor’s Wife, The Almost People, half of The Rebel Flesh and listening to me rattle on about Weeping Angels and The Silence and Vincent and the Doctor (cause she’s an artist of sorts and I thought she’d appreciate it), my grandma has this to say: “I’ll tell ya…the person who comes up with this stuff, who writes it all…what a weirdo!...
